The Shanghai Donghai Bridge Wind Farm, which will be completed before the World Expo next year, is located to the east of the Donghai Bridge. It consists of 34 huge white windmills, with a density of 1 km from north to south and 500 meters from east to west, forming a 14 square kilometer offshore wind power demonstration area. The Donghai Bridge wind farm has an installed capacity of 100 megawatts and can provide all electricity for 100,000 households through submarine cables. The annual carbon dioxide emission reduction effect is equivalent to stopping 50,000 cars.
It is reported that the installed capacity of each generator of the wind farm is 3 MW, which is the wind turbine with single unit capacity in China; The total weight of the tower is more than 400 tons, the height is more than 90 meters, and the blade length of "windmill" is 45 meters.
In order to ensure the safe and smooth completion of this task, the ship "Sihang Endeavour" carefully carried out the construction technical disclosure, and closely communicated with the third navigation bureau of the ship user, overcame the construction difficulties of rapid water flow and difficult ship positioning in this area, successfully completed the installation task of the first wind turbine, and accumulated valuable construction experience for this type of construction in the future.
